Pilates Beginners 5-Week Course

There are limited places so early booking is essential.

Please note: Recordings will be available upon request for a few days following each class for those who are unable to make the live session.

What is it?

This five-week course will teach you the fundamentals and principles of Pilates that will heighten your awareness of your perfectly imperfect body, so that you can attend open classes with confidence and build your own self-practice routine.

Working with control, breath and precision Pilates works the entire body (yes even those pinkies!) through a series of graduated movement sequences which improve posture and alignment rebalancing the entire neuro-musculo-skeletal system.

Who is it for?

This course is for you if you are looking to enliven your spine after slouching at your desk, strengthen your shoulders for yoga, rebalance your legs and hips after running or simply just feel good about giving your body a chance to intelligently restore itself so you can enjoy an active lifestyle.

Open to complete beginners (fit or unfit, of any age) and those who wish to return to the basics in order to revisit the foundation of their practice and understanding of Pilates as a body technique.

On completion of the course, you’ll be able to continue your Pilates journey with Sonia (or with anyone else). Join Sonia’s first group Pilates class as your FREE taster.

2. Sonia will do a brief screening with you (you will be sent a short questionnaire) just to ensure you are both aligned in how the classes will be running, and if there are any bodily challenges, medical conditions and injuries that Sonia needs to be aware of.
3. You will receive payment instructions (bank transfer to the UK account, TransferWise, Paypal, or anything else that works better for us both).

Cancellations made within 48 hours are forfeited without credit or refund.
